Careers

Come and make imports boring.

We are small, based in Lagos, and hiring slowly. Four kinds of work, each of them load-bearing — and an application process that ends with an actual answer.

What the work is

A logistics company that mostly writes sentences.

The hard part of this business is not moving a parcel. It is knowing where the parcel is and telling someone, in plain language, before they have to ask. Almost every job here is some version of that.

Open roles

Four roles.

If none of these is you but you think you should be here, say so — the list is what we know we need, not the limit of what we would consider.

Operations

Operations associate

Full time · Ikeja, Lagos

The desk job at the centre of the product. You move shipments through their stages, chase what has stalled, write the quotes, and answer the WhatsApp threads that come back. If a customer is told something, usually you are the one who told them.

  • You write clearly under time pressure
  • You have worked somewhere that customers chase you
  • You would rather deliver bad news early than explain it late
Clearing

Customs & clearing specialist

Full time or retained · Lagos

You know the ports, the agents and the paperwork, and you can tell the difference between a shipment that is waiting and a shipment that is stuck. The whole product is a promise that clearance is legible — you are the person who makes that true rather than aspirational.

  • Hands-on experience clearing at Apapa, Tin Can or MMIA
  • A working grasp of HS classification and what moves duty
  • Licensed, or working closely with someone who is
Delivery

Rider

Full time or shift · Lagos

The last stage, and the one the customer remembers. You deliver, you take the handover photo, and you advance the stage from your phone. Narrow access on purpose — you can move a shipment and upload proof, and nothing else.

  • Valid licence and your own bike, or willing to use ours
  • You know Lagos well enough to not need the map
  • You take the photo even when the customer says not to bother
Engineering

Full-stack engineer

Full time · Lagos or remote (WAT ±2)

TypeScript, Next.js, Postgres. You would be working on the thing you are reading — the stage machine, the messaging pipeline, the admin surface. Small team, so you will own whole features and talk to the people using them.

  • You have shipped and then maintained something real
  • You write comments that explain why, not what
  • You are comfortable being the person who decides

How we hire

Four steps, and you hear back.

We have all applied for things and been ignored. This is the process we wanted on the other side of it.

  1. [01]

    A message, not a form

Send us what you have done and why this is interesting to you. Two paragraphs is plenty. No cover letter theatre.

  2. [02]

    A conversation

Forty-five minutes, with the person you would work with. We will tell you what is hard about the job rather than what is exciting about it.

  3. [03]

A piece of real work, paid

A small, scoped task from the actual backlog, and we pay for your time on it. We do not ask for free work and we do not run whiteboard puzzles.

  4. [04]

    An answer either way

Within a week of the last step, with a reason. Being left to wonder is the thing everyone hates most about applying, and it costs nothing to fix.

Apply

Send us two paragraphs.

What you have built or run, and why this one is interesting. A CV is welcome but not required — we would rather read your own account of your work than a formatted summary of it.

Before you write

  1. [01]

    Read the FAQ

It is the clearest statement of what we promise customers. If you disagree with any of it, that is worth saying in your message.

  2. [02]

    Track a real shipment

Open the tracking page and look at what a customer actually sees. Tell us what you would change.

  3. [03]

    Name the role

Or tell us the one you think we have missed.
